In March 2012 I was selected by the International Astronomical Union as the recipient of the 2012 The Gruber Foundation Fellowship, within the Foundation’s Young Scientists Award Program. The official announcement has been given by The Gruber Foundation and the International Astronomical Union, including the Portal to the Universe. The news has been reported (in Italian) also by the Università degli Studi di Milano, together with an interview. Starting from August 2012, I will take up the IAU Gruber Fellowship at the Department of Astronomy at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, USA, mentored by Professor Enrico Vesperini.
