In May 2010 I have been selected by The US-Italy Fulbright Commission as the recipient of a Fellowship for the academic year 2010-2011 in the category “Visiting Student Researcher”. The Italian Fulbrighters in the class of 2010 have been officially presented in the Commission’s Newsletter. The introductory remarks of the Award Ceremony at the Centro per gli Studi Americani in Rome have been presented by Professor Giuliano  Amato, former Prime Minister of Italy and Fulbright alumnus. The Fulbright Fellowship will allow me to spend part of my doctoral studies at the Department fo Physics at Drexel University in Philadelphia. PA, USA, under the supervision of Professors Steve McMillan and Enrico Vesperini.
