Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Research Fellowship

September 15, 2012 Press Releases

In June 2012 I have been selected as the recipient of a Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Research Fellowship in Science. The formal announcement has been given by the Royal Commission, both on pixel and paper.  The 1851 Research Fellowship will fund a three-year research project, dedicated to the study of the formation and dynamical evolution of  globular star clusters. Starting from Fall 2013 I will be in residence at the School of Mathematics of the University of Edinburgh, UK, mentored by Professor Douglas C. Heggie.
